The Strategic Sales Manager will manage and grow customer accounts within the Agricultural business segment for Exacto, Inc. Individuals who have established relationships with distributors, retailers and/or large growers in the Western United States is highly desired.
This position focuses on ensuring all customer accounts within the assigned business segment are adequately serviced under the guidance of a Business Leader. This person will be instrumental in growing our level of service, sales, and field support and is expected to grow personally and professionally into the next level sales position.
Manages multiple accounts and actively cultivates those with large growth potential.
Provides multiple accounts with sales services at the retail and manager levels with a value and solutions based approach.
Understands their assigned Market Segment and the major players within it.
Develops relationships within the customer organizations to understand opportunities for business development.
Acts as the liaison for coordinating projects and activities between sales department and other sales related units.
Works with the Research Agronomist to deliver customer education, research, and training at the distributor, dealer and end user levels.
Commonly works from remote home office with scheduled visits to Exacto Main office. Travels as needed to visit with customers, vendors, and prospective customers & vendors, attend industry meetings, shows, and training classes related to potential opportunities to enhance knowledge and network of new industries and market prospects.
Maintains an understanding of the weeds, diseases, insects, and environmental challenges that limit performance but can create opportunities for Exacto products.
Maintains confidentiality and service NDA’s as needed with new opportunities.
